Twelve Warriors in Scotland squad for Ireland

Gregor Townsend has named twelve Warriors in his squad as they look to kick on from their Calcutta Cup victory against Ireland in Dublin this Saturday.

Fraser Brown returns from injury and Lee Jones is also named on the bench with Edinburgh Rugby's Blair Kinghorn the only change to the starting XV on the wing.

Brown has not played for club or country in 2018, his last run out coming in Glasgow’s 17-0 1872 Cup victory over Edinburgh in December.

Finn Russell starts at fly-half following his Man of the Match performance against England.

Double try scorer that day Huw Jones is once again partnered in midfield by Warriors teammate Peter Horne and Stuart Hogg starts at fullback.

Jonny Gray and Ryan Wilson both start in the forward pack.

Joining Brown on the bench among the forwards are Glasgow Loosehead Jamie Bhatti and lock Tim Swinson.

Ali Price and Nick Grigg join Jones among the replacements ensuring all three backs on the bench are Warriors.
